Mallard duckling
Acrylic on board - 13'' x 16''

A new painting to be exhibited at the Malvern Autumn Show - 26th/27th September
This study is greatly inspired by the work of Ching. It is very like some of his studies, for which I make no apology. Many of his works comprise studies rather than large and elaborate, heavily composed paintings. I enjoy the way he seeks to represent nature, stripping it back to its simplest, and focusing on the simplicity and beauty of the everyday.
